Church of Santa Cruz
The Church of Santa Cruz, built in the 17th century, has a baroque mannerist style, with the exterior all in worked stone with central symmetry and the interior with gilded carved woodwork.
In 1625, after the blessing of the land by archbishop Afonso Furtado de Mendonça, construction immediately began.
There is a legend associated with this church where whoever finds the 3 roosters on the façade and the "marrying girl" will be married soon.
