Raio Palace
The Raio Palace, also referred to as "Casa do Mexicano", is one of the most remarkable buildings in the city's civil architecture, in the Joanine Baroque style, built by the renowned Portuguese architect André Soares.
On the façade, the exuberant decoration stands out, starting from the richly worked central door and also the 11 windows divided by the two floors.
Restored in 2015, it is considered the Interpretative Centre of Memories of Misericórdia de Braga, hosting collections of the institution and health care in the region.
